Pierre Wolf is the Founder and CEO of Qi Venture Partners. Qi has been at the forefront of using technology and data to help major corporations identify and recover significant and often unknown latent dollars. This model-driven approach has allowed Its portfolio companies to identify more than $2,500,000,000 for corporate clients including becoming a leader in the class action and music rights recovery spaces.
Prior to founding Qi, he founded and directed the Derivative Products Group of Fimat USA, LLC, a subsidiary of Société Générale. D.P.G specialized in structuring and trading financial solutions for the largest hedge funds, investment banks, and proprietary trading groups in the market. Under Pierre’s management, the group consisted of more than fifty professionals and was widely considered to be one of the preeminent academic and quantitative groups in the alternative marketplace.
In 2008, Pierre and his colleagues aligned several major institutions including: MIT, Moody’s, and Real Capital Analytics, to commercially launch the first set of real estate indices to track values across different commercial real estate property classes based on transaction history. Real was named 2008 Entity of the Year by Real Estate Investment and Finance.
Pierre graduated from George Washington University. He attended NYU Graduate School of Business before he left early to join an arbitrage strategies group. Pierre interns several students from prestigious universities each summer in a comprehensive financial fellowship program. He has also been a mentor in Big Brother Big Sister Foundation.
